Traditional Taijiquan begins with exercises to open and transform the body (jiebingong), which includes mental focus, joint opening exercises, standing meditation and neigong (methods to develop traditional Taiji internal skills), and the Loosening Exercises, Solo Form, and Push Hands of Grandmaster Huang Xingxian (Sheng-shyan). Except the Tuesday and Wednesday Elite Fitness classes, all classes are taught from my home classroom, which is located near the 84th St. exit of I-94 in Milwaukee.
The HME Healing Clinic offers Taiji Bodywork for various ailments, including range of motion, painful or stiff joints, headaches, arthritis, and much more. Appointments are available on request and usually run 20 minutes. Call 414-217-7601 for more information.
